Here, we take a closer look at Circadian Rhythms.
Circadian rhythm refers to our internal body clock, which controls our biological system; from our moods, performance and sleeping patterns to our metabolic and immune systems, following the natural 24 hours cycle of the solar system.
As primates, we require sunlight to be awake, alert and productive and darkness to rest and recover. For Circadian philosophy, mealtime plays an important role as it directly affects our daily functions.
Next time, we’ll examine the concept of Intermittent Fasting, and how it can be harnessed along with consideration for our Circadian rhythm.
